Our Return Policy
We use only the highest quality materials and craftsmanship for our jewelry. If there is a defect in the workmanship of one of our pieces, we will do everything in our power to make things right. If you have any problems with your jewelry, please don't hesitate to contact us.
- In stock earrings, diamond studs, bracelets, and pendants are returnable within 7 days for a full refund. Items must be unaltered and in their original condition.
- Rings that have been sized up or down from the default size (7) are returnable for in-store credit only.
- Custom designed jewelry of any kind (rings, pendants, etc.) and special ordered diamonds and gemstones are non-returnable.
- Electronics, ie 3D printers, computers, hardware, etc, are not returnable and sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied.
We offer a three day inspection period on loose, in stock polished diamonds. Full payment is due before diamonds leave our store. Diamonds must be returned in their original condition and include the original paperwork and/or reports. Diamonds not in their original condition or including original paperwork are not eligible for return.
Quotes on any item we sell are only valid for 7 business days. This is due to market fluctuation for metals, diamonds, and gemstones. All items not approved or denied within the 7 day period must be re-quoted. A 50% down payment of your quote is required before we begin production on your custom designed jewelry. This payment is non-refundable and full payment is due before delivery. Full payment for special orders, loose diamonds, and gemstones is due before delivery. See above for our return policy on these items. We have a strong relationship with PayPal which means we are able to offer 6 months interest free financing. More information can be found here.
Custom designed jewelry always ships free in the U.S. We also offer free shipping on all non-melee polished diamond orders. All other items ship USPS Priority and you will be notified of any shipping charges on the invoice. Please note that many of our diamonds and colored stones are sourced from overseas. This means they can take longer than usual to arrive at our office. If we believe an item will take more than 14 days to arrive, you will be notified before the order is placed. Diamond orders typically take 5 days or fewer to arrive at our office.
We cannot be held responsible for delays in shipping time, lost or stolen packages, international shipments, import/export fees, or other situations beyond our control. In 4 years, we have never had a shipment not show up to a client's door.
Creation Of Your Custom Designed Jewelry
On average, all of our custom jewelry takes 8-12 business days to be produced. This process can go slower if:
- Diamonds or gemstones are not in stock
- Design is very intricate or has many different elements
- We use your stones for the piece
If we use your stones to create a piece of jewelry, the build time can increase up to 21 business days. The stone(s) need to be verified and the model (your jewelry) has to be checked to ensure a 100% fit. This can delay processing.
While we only use experts for stone removal and stone setting, we (Tech Jewelers and our affiliates) cannot be held responsible for damage to customer owned stones and jewelry that we work with. By approving your order, you agree to hold us harmless to any and all damage to stones and jewelry.
Stopping Blood and Conflict Diamonds
We guarantee the diamonds that we sell are conflict free and non blood diamonds and we only work with reputable companies that have similar assurances in place. For our official policy on conflict diamonds, and more information on what you can do to help, see below.

The seller hereby guarantees that these diamonds are conflict free, based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds. To the best of TJ's knowledge, diamonds herein invoiced have not originated from The Marange region of Zimbabwe. The supplier of these diamonds to TJ has provided a similar assurance of non-Marange origin to TJ. The diamonds herein invoiced/sold are natural diamonds and not synthetic unless otherwise stated. This statement is based on personal knowledge and/or written assurances provided to us by the suppliers of the diamonds and does not exclude any required disclosure regarding treated diamonds."
